IIRC, an entire MCM 1900 pair of stack units went for around 5 grand or so when they first came out....@JRH will remember better on this...of course that was the original model, without the MSSM units which were added a bit later...and the MSM unit itself may have been the earliest one that did not have the 4-driver manifold yet!  So you can get an idea of how much they are asking compared to how much a twin woofer section would have originally cost!

I remember cartons of filtered Kool's for $3.60. My first new car a Hornet Hatchback $2,600 out the door and loans did not go over 2 years. No bearing on today's cost other than to point out how governments repudiate debt through inflation.
