DIY screen cover

Hi,

 

I posted this question in modifications too, wasn't sure which tab would be more appropriate.  I saw these DIY screens on a guys blog.  He made it for his scott integrated.  I think it looks awesome, serves a purpose, breathable, and more affordable than the case that comes with it. 

 

any thoughts/ideas/

I've seen metal grids like this at hardware stores.  My guess is he purchased a big piece, cut to size with tin snips, then carefully folded where he wanted the edges. Not sure about the "matte black" colour though, I've only seen plain silverish metalic.  That's my guess.

It's the reddit effect, where people often won't see something posted on a subreddit, so content is cross-posted a ridiculous amount of times in order to increase visibility and karma.
