IC-800-T atmos

Recommended Posts

Does anyone have any experience with these? I’m thinking they would be the best match for the rest of the pro gear in my living room. I wonder if I would have to be less spread out than Dolby recommends because the tighter dispersion pattern.

I guess I’ll be the first to try these.

Can you get any response graphs out of the ease data?

Care to elaborate? I’ve looked at the dispersion patterns from the website. Not 100% sure how that will apply to my room.

They will work great...We have used them in small cinemas....and homes. remember the depth...they are deeper than most home in ceiling speakers.

OH...Roy D engineered them.

Thank you sir. Any opinion if they should be mounted in the standard atmos position or they should be adjusted for the dispersion pattern? I have 9ft ceilings in that room.

Standard  ATMOS locations......that's what the Dolby team tells me.

That is the way I design.....I look at them as 90 deg...not 105...Just like most our other in ceiling gear. IF you get better coverage...gravy.

Thanks for the help. I’ve made an order, so I’ll try to find a good spot for them.
