carlthess40
I had two of these subs. Don’t believe the specs as these things will shake the house with as little as 100watts. Great subsDollar for dollar Klipsch has no equals Name one other speaker company that can build a speaker and keep working like new after 45 plus years of service. Heaterman
Would 2 of them be equal to a single 684? more options for placement if so....
carlthess40
When I had two of the kpt-484 subs they sounded great on either side of my Cornwall’s or my kpt-904’s. As the bass was coming from both sides. A friend of mine had the larger sub ( 684 ) that was basically a dual 484 and my two 484’s sounded better then the single 684 because of how they spread the low frequencies in a wider fashion all over the room. I had a very large HT room that was 16’ wide and 26’ longAnd I used 6 kpt-100’s as side and rear surround speakers in a 9.2 system Dollar for dollar Klipsch has no equals Name one other speaker company that can build a speaker and keep working like new after 45 plus years of service.
