wnabphil78@gmail
Hey all, I have a Velodyne F-115 servo, amp is bad. Can I replace the amp with a different one even with the servo system? Any help appreciated thanks Tom

CECAA850
I believe that the electronics for the servo are in the amp so I wouldn't think that a conventional plate amp would work.

I had the 18 version of this sub and was told the same thing from Velodyne. I want to say that they didn't offer any replacement amps either and recommended having it taken to a repair facility that could identify the faulty component and repair it. If you look on Ebay, I believe there is a company repairing these amps.
Frzninvt
The servo unit is mounted under the dust cap in the woofer most commonly and connects to the amplifier with a connector. It would need to be recalibrated most likely.
