The Michigan starting pitcher was on his game last night.

Nice story with the Michigan coach and his position on the expense of travel teams and and how it keeps some kids from being successful and how they recruit differently.

Louisville Vs. AUburn set to resume at 11am.

MState Vs. Vanderbilt 65 minutes after the end of that game.

TT Vs. FSU 6 pm

So, who do you like,  Vanderbilt or Mississippi State?

Now I understand why I can’t help pulling for Michigan; pitcher Tommy Henry is a fellow Portage Northern HS alumnus.  Another Portage Northern alum who went to Michigan and later had an 11 year MLB career is Leon Roberts.

One win away from CWS championship. Go Blue!

Michigan defeated Vanderbilt 7-4 in the first game of the College World Series in Omaha. The Wolverines out-hit the Commodores, 14-7. Michigan is just one win away from the baseball national title. If they are successful they will become the first Big Ten team to accomplish this feat since Ohio State in 1966, 53 years ago. The College World Series originated in 1947. Southern California has the most titles with 12, followed by LSU and Texas with 6 each.  by Jack Park the John Bacon of OSU
