YK Thom
Pretty basic...anyone using them for balconies? Finally summer up here and music coming through the balcony door and window from the main system just not cutting it. I’d like a set outside to hear, something that can take the elements (very little rain up here).
billybob
Understandable... what if anything in the way in mind, since not much in the way of rain? Humidity? Thanks

Mighty Favog
One thing I came across when I was running speakers in another room on Zone 2 was that the Zone 2 speakers cannot have their own EQ adjustments. They'll have the same as Zone 1. At least that's what happens on my Pioneer Elite VSX49-TXi. ......just food for thought. But if you can afford them, might want to check out the CA800t ($600/pr.)
YK Thom
Something to look into. I would know how to eq a balcony anyway, just need some some sound.
rockhound
Also you may not be able to play anything digital from zone 2 such as HDMI audio. I have KI-172's on my patio.
YK Thom
I’d have to keep them low for sure.

Well, I have a number of modernizations going on, like I just saw Denny from Welsch Heating and Cooling here in STL about obviating the HUGE Natural Gas (Fossil Fuel powered) Giant Firepuffer (hot water radiator heat) in the basement of my house with two all electric heat pump solutions! I have a LOT of audio equipment to sell on Craigslist so I will include the JBL Control X Weather Resistants for Klipsch AW-650s! Next year's model! John Kuthe...
