jcmusic
If you have the means to play these 1/4" 2 track tapes and could afford some at moderate prices, name some that would be on your go to list?

JohnA
I don't think Masters are recorded on 1/4" tape. But if I could get unmolested 2-track final masters, I'd want to try, FM's "Rumours" Jeff Beck's "Blow by Blow" Alan Parson's "Tales of ...." Doobies "The Captain and Me" Thelma Houston and Pressure Cooker's "I've Got The Music ...." Sheffield Lab-2 YEAH, BaaBY!!!!!
joshnich
I have purchased 1/4 inch 2 track tapes that have been recorded directly from the master from a guy named Leslie Brooks. His company is https://analogaudioinc.com/ They dont list these for sale on his website but email him to get on his list. From time to time I get an email with available titles. Way more reasonable than other sources. Josh
joshnich
here is another source. I have not used them so I cannot vouch for them. I have bought a couple of tapes from a company in Italy and was trying to remember the name and found these guys while I was searching. https://www.yarlungrecords.com/product-category/analog-tapes/
