So it would seem, but the fact of the matter is that zip ties, of any color, are all systematically removed and all the wire bundles get fluffed to prevent any two wires from touching each other between terminations.  It was with a certain level of disingenuity that mention was made of the effect the zip ties' colors have on electrical signals.  Unless, perhaps, the notion that the color "absent" provides the most musical enjoyment, but that fact was not mentioned for some accidental reason?

I think the answer to this is.......

" Tone color, also known as timbre, is the quality of a sound that is not characterized as frequency (pitch), duration (rhythm), or amplitude (volume). "

So yes there is solid evidence the color of zip ties can and do effect audio output. I am also wondering about the color of the wires I use now too. I am thinking of coating all my wires and zip ties with this to tame the problem. https://www.thecableco.com/black-out-paint.html

What the moderators have to decide is how does his presence reflect on this forum. I assume that thinking adults can very quickly decide he is what he seems to be and either not tune in or enjoy the humor of it all and I for one think it is amusing.

Speaking for myself only, I'm with you 100%.

It's tough because back in the day there was this tall thin wild man, eccentric,  a maverick genius.  Wore two wrist watches on his arm, a left-handed wing nut who set out and patented a major advance in corner horn technology.

His name was Gadfly O. Hertz and he warned us that it might be difficult to tell the snake oil salesman from the real McCoy, and he didn't abide bullshit!

The factory wiring in my La Scala II was 14 ga. Seemed fine.

I  would like to hear a LaScala II (and the AL5 for that matter).  I saw some pictures of the wiring in the LSII's on a site called HiFi Shock:   https://www.hifishock.org/gallery/speakers/klipsch/la-scala-ii-3-klipsch/    I could not tell what kind it was; there was writing on the jacket, but I could not decipher it.  It did appear to be 14 ga.  Looked like nice wire.

In a YouTube video, "Klipsch La Scala AL5: Klipschorn Heritage with a Twist",  Mark Casavant  stated that the wiring in the AL5 is Audioquest.  The Music Direct site for the AL5 states that the wiring is Audioquest Type 4.

To paraphrase PWK, your new ideas don't make a dime's worth of difference.

These are not "new" ideas - just idiotic dumbass shit. Go away. Please. And while you're gone, work on your soldering. Something that doesn't involve a flamethrower.

Thanks Deang, that’s exactly what I wanted to say.

Allrighty then, first we have this on page 16

"Dear Dave A:

Ship all three to me for careful inspection.   You maybe won't like front-firing, directly-radiating into the room at you 15 inch woofers , woofers that are front horn loaded, from 135 hZ on up.  The two-way A7-8 has a very poor deep low-end compared to any Klipschhorn .   That alone, is a critical negative amongst true audiophiles.  And besides,  there are no provisions for employing banana plugs.

Then on page 21 we have

Here is my final response to this thread, and most of you , acting so silly :

Thats right jason str.  I do not  mind missing lowest bass at all, IF all else is great.  With my DIY amps, and high-transfer-efficiency wire,  good connections ( never banana plugs ) it is very-very good.  I hate hearing woofers, 15 inch woofers, that are rear-horn loaded, VS direct-radiating FRONT-horn-loaded 15s.  That is why I use A7-8s, a simple two-way system.  World's best !!   A ALTEC 515B  woofer is superior.  Nothing wrong with an 802D either IMHO.   But it demands proper implementation, and no one I know, world-wide,  does A-7s very well.

FYI, I don't mass load the enclosures any more friends !!  Did VERY light mods, see them below and left page side of my Moniker..  Sounds fantastic in the room.  Takes CONTROL of the room.

So inquiring minds want to know what really is the low down on A7's and are you a true, by your own definition, audiophile or not? Have you ever watched Monty Python?

I mean, wtf is this? No way you're applying that much heat without damaging the film.

Holy cow, what is that? I hope that's not one of Medwin's amps!

The electronic techs at one of my former employers used to joke about sloppy solder jobs: "The bigger the blob, the better the job."
