Help? Luxman 115 pushing Cornwall’s 1

Recommended Posts

Hey all, I have a Luxman R115 pushing Cornwall’s from 1977, would I benefit adding a 125 watt power amp to this setup? Would I get better sound with clean higher power? I know the corns are super efficient, any help appreciated thanks Tom

Why not try low watter Single Ended Triode Amp?

A clean 30 watts is all any Heritage loudspeaker needs.

Sure, if you want to leave a lot of headroom for those speakers.  A good 60 watts will make them rock!  Give the amp some headroom.  A great 100 wpc, safely pushing 60 watts, will max-out those speakers without blowing them. 🤘

If it isn't black, I do.

U're out of luck, John. Only in black...

Gee, will handle 2 ohm loads... maybe I could use that. Rewiring my 2A3s will be a job.
