That Squished fly incident happened around 1977-78 time frame when I was living in a raggedy, old frame house up on blocks south of Emmett, Arkansas and working at Klipsch. ANY KIND of critter that wanted to get inside had multiple ways of getting there, along with an ungodly amount of dust from the gravel road about 40 yards in front of the house! I was swapping labor for rent trying to get it fixed up for the brother of my neighbor who was soon to retire to that place from California! It was the absolute worst conditions for audio equipment, but everything survived well, anyway...LOL! That fly was a big fat juicy one, too! Luckily, I didn't live there for very long!
