I've had my HIP's for a little over a year and am wanting to see if I can get an idea of when they were made. The S/N's are 5419 & 5420.

 

As I've been led to understand there should have been two digits before the S/N's signifying the year. But these only have the last four digits. Also, both inspection/testing labels have come off completely over time (glue dried up).

 

Is there list this can be referenced to?

You might want to ask put this in Ask The Historian part of the Museum Section.

 

Andy might have some insight as well.
