ACV92
So, the first pic looks like Forte I's and Heresy's. The second pic is what throws me, the radiators on the cabs of the smaller ones. What say you? They need a lot of work, even though he says they're in excellent condition, but I'm curious as to what we've got here. https://spokane.craigslist.org/ele/d/spokane-klipsch-home-speakers/6934426248.html Only asking $300 obo. geoff.
Kg4’s? Forte 1’s have the smaller passive too.
dtr20
Probably kg4s, can't tell if the stacked set is bigger, if so forte
ACV92
Just now, geoff. said: Kg4’s? Maybe, I'll have to do some looking. I'm thinking it's one Forte and 3, if you're right, 4's. The riser on the one that's stacked on top looks like a Forte, judging by the riser. Then one is missing a riser that's against the wall. It's like a Klipsch puzzle. geoff.
Is that a 45 gallon drum in the bottom left? ...methylamine?! LOL!
ACV92
I believe you guys are right. Looks like (3) 4's and a Forte. Thanks for the assistance and yes I'll pass considering I'd have to decontaminate them just to begin.....

The Dude
Maybe too short for a Quartet.
Oicu812
@ACV92 The seller says 4 12” speakers. What he means is 4 Heresy for $300. You should be in the car already. <-------If only this were true, unfortunately it isn’t. I've just now looked at this on the big screen. Stupid tiny iPad. They appear to be KG4s with three of the four having had the risers removed. $250 a pair restored, more like $100 pair in mediocre shape, if that much. Dang, I thought you had hit the jackpot. Sorry. That fourth speaker seems bigger than a KG4. Odd. Ask the seller to take pictures of “the place where the wires attach” on all four.. That would tell us what they are.

Agree. Heresy's in good condition go for $400 all day long. I also track H1's in Avg/poor condition. They hold their value at $323. EDIT: Other Forumites have determined these are NOT Heresy speakers. That makes my pricing estimates invalid.
avguytx
Buy both pairs, refinish both pairs, sell one pair. You've paid for the speakers.
ACV92
Pretty sure they're not Heresy's. They have radiators in the back if you look at the second pic. I just bought some 2 year old RF-7 II's a few weeks ago so my Klipsch funds are a little light at the moment.

That set isn’t the right deal for anyone, unless the seller basically gives them away.
