College Football 2019

They came.

They saw.

They got beat by LSU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They didn't just get beat, they were crushed. Other than the first quarter, then LSU settled down and adapted, took the lead in the second quarter and never looked back. LSU could have added more points late in the 4th quarter but the coaching staff chose not to. Clemson scored zero points in the 4th quarter. In the end LSU owned Clemson, and the better team won.

Go Tigers!

Joe Brady already has money thrown at him, heading to the Carolina Panthers. More than doubling his current salary. Youngest Offensive Coordinator in the NFL.

Could have easily been 24 or 31 point lead but Coach O didn't want to embarrass Dabo and his team. LSU was in total control in the 4th quarter, and the game was "in their pocket". The last LSU drive they could have easily scored again but it was pointless. Coach O is a man of real character. He has stated before he treats his players as his sons, all of them. And his players respect and love the man.

There will be a parade in Baton Rouge this Saturday on the LSU campus. The governor of LA and mayor of BR will be there and extend the key to the city to the Tigers. Starts @ 1100, you should come join us :)

Always a winner and a loser.  Always.  Second place is the first loser.

Recruiting must not be going too well for TTUN.  You can walk on anywhere but to post this?  It's a first and yes it's legit!  :)

It’s interesting that only “... those students invited to participate in on-field activities ...” will have an opportunity to demonstrate their athletic potential.

Perhaps the registration process is intended to weed out only those who would be ineligible irrespective of talent.  IMO, cattle calls like this are designed to find kickers, both punters and place kickers.  It’s not unheard of to find a soccer (football to the rest of the world), Australian football, or rugby player who can kick the heck out of a pigskin. Less common is a speedy track star who didn’t play high school football, but has value as a football player.

How does one find such hidden gems only through a registration process?  Unless you see the Brazilian kicker or Nigerian speedster in action, they could be lost in a paper registration process.

Some foreign imports work out better than others.  Danish soccer player Morten Andersen (not a walk-on) starred at MSU before his HOF career in NFL.  In contrast, Aussie punter Blake O’Neill will forever be implicated in the 2015 MSU victory  in the Big House, and, unfortunately, he did not go on to play at the next level after a knee injury ended his kicking career.

My comment and yours posted at literally the same minute.  Here was my post with a different link.  Yours looks better.

Michigan State coach Mark Dantonio resigns.

https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/28635019/mark-dantonio-steps-coach-michigan-state

Would someone care to explain this to me, it doesn't make sense.  Here we have the most successful coach in the history of MSU.  In January he takes $4.3 mil retention bonus and then a few weeks later he resigns?  Does he keep the cash?  Why would he leave?
