Mathieu
Hi guys, I plan to buy my first Klipsch system and I would like some recommandations about receiver. It's very difficult for me to select the right receiver with enought power and quality. My speakers configuration is: 2x Klipsch R-620F 2x Klipsch R-41SA 1x Centrale Klipsch R-52C My room size is 20x20 ft and my budget for reveiver around $600. Today I see several receivers: Denon AVR-X3200W Yamaha RX-A880 Onkyo tx-nr696 Do you have any recommandations in this selection? I have a preference for the Yamaha, apparently better with home theater effect but with low power. Thanks for your help and have a nice day. Mathieu. Ceptorman
I've always been partial to Yamaha. I think any of those you mentioned would work well though. A lot of places will let you try an AVR to see if it works well in your environment. Accessories for less is a good place to look at gear. avguytx
Just now, EpicKlipschFan said: between denon & yamaha... i would go with onkyo. Same here but I'm rather biased since I was an Onkyo/Integra rep from 2001 to 2009 and can still buy it for rep sample price. My second choice would be Denon and Yamaha 3rd and all 3 are great receivers/companies. Like I tell my wife when she's deliberating on something..."just pick one and go!" (although I'm about as bad)
