Mpersicojr
My klipsch 15 inch sub keeps blotting out. I have to keep shutting it off and on. Suggestions?
Anirban
What's the model# SVS PB2000? just kiddin.. If it's R-115 SW, and under warranty, please have it sent to Klipsch and get it replaced with SPL 150. Thank you
HDBRbuilder
"Klipsch 15-inch sub" needs to be quite a bit more specific...since there have been over a half dozen of those made in different models and styles over the years. What does its label have written on it, and a picture is the best thing for us to be able to help YOU!
CommanderROR
I have two SPL150 Subwoofers in my HT. One of them suddenly died, taking the electricity bin the entire room with it, but not blowing it's own fuse. The place where I bought it (I've only had it for 3 weeks) will send me a new amp, so that I don't have to ship the massive box to them. In preparation I removed the broken amp from mine and was rather shocked when I saw that it has R115SW written all over it, and only has 150 written in once place, with felt tip... Is this normal? Anirban
Woah! there you go! So the SPL150s are no better either?
CommanderROR
Seems like the inner workings haven't been changed much... The subs do sound great when they are working, but if they have to be repaired all the time...
Anirban
Indeed they sound great but without longevity, what's the point. I have dual R-112 SW. Not sure how long they will last
Amstaff
Klipsch make great speakers but for great subs - go elsewhere
Frzninvt
Disposable sub amps, subwoofers are not Klipsch's strong suit. Best to stay away.
Anirban
But since they are doing it anyways, they better do it right with better quality parts. The subs sound so good, atleast sounded better than SVS ones.
