Harbormaster
I have a Onkyo 730 receiver and would like to use an older yamaha 665 For my mains. Do i connect the front left, right and center to the preouts on the Onkyo but the Yamaha has only "preouts" for the fronts? Also, there is a trigger connection on both receivers that I will connect to. Will this control the power and volume? Appreciate any suggestions. baron167
First question is why do you want to use both amps? Second question is will you please clarify what you are trying to accomplish?Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

wvu80
I'm not familiar with your equipment. Are you trying to passively bi-amp by hooking two AVR's together? I strongly recommend against that. Simply put neither AVR was designed to work that way. There are a lot of things which could blow up including your speakers.
