Klipschorn placement question

Recommended Posts

Have a new to me set of Khorn, and looking for clarification on brochure info. 1980 version (ish).

See picture, its states when placed in corner the "walls and floor" become part of the "extention".

Given how room treatments effect things, and damping cabinets effect bass ect, I'm wondering if a simple sheetrock wall corner is fine, and carpet on the floor, or if these surface treatments can be altered for different performance (extension)

Yes by all means.  But the khorns have a funny lense opening to the bass bins.  You can have the cabinets sit off the wall as well.  You do need to add a small triangle to the wall surface.  So that they now resemble the The Klipsch TSCM Professional.   This is the final Khorn vesion, which exceeds the origional by leaps and bounds.  http://www.itishifi.com/2012/08/klipsch-tscm.html.
