Help with speakers

It sounds like you own the RF-62’s or RF-25’s. If that’s the case, I don’t think it would be worth the expense of upgrading to RP-6000’s.

If you have the entry “Reference” towers, it would be worth the upgrade.

Give us some more info about your system and room size and the fine people here will tell you how to spend your hard earned money in the right places.

Room size is 15ft from couch to tv. It’s a family room so it’s open to the kitchen it has 3 walls. Vaulted ceilings above the couch it’s 8 ft to above tv is 12ft. I have a Pioneer Elite VSXLX-304(100 watts per channel rms). Fronts are klipsch  R-620-F.  Center channel is Klipsch

R-34-C. Rears are Martin Logan 3 1/2 bookshelf.
subs are 2 Klipsch Synergy 12’s.

What exactly is your system missing? If I were in your shoes, I’d likely upgrade the center to a 504C. I think that would make the single biggest sound improvement on a budget. Upgrade the towers to the matching towers down the road, as budget allows.

So I upgraded the a/v receiver to the Pioneer Elite SC-LX701(135wpc). Also upgraded the front speakers. Went with the RP-6000f and the center I went with the RP-600c. Haven’t received them yet but can’t wait. Now I need to try and convince the wife to get 2 of the SPL-150sw. I really want to feel the movie also.
