For Sale: Marantz 140 Power Amp

Recommended Posts

I bought this amp about 1-2 years ago fully restored. It's very clean with some minor blemishes on the front glass. The meters work as well as the clip lights. He also put new paper in behind the meters. New bulbs.

This unit is very clean and sounds/performs excellent. Asking price is $600.00 including shipping/packaging. Local pickup would be less. Powers Lake, WI.

How many watts?
I think this is the same amp that is in the sought after Marantz 2270.

I forgot to mention that I also have the original wood case for this amp. I'll get some pics up later.

Wood case will be included in original price.

The walls are closing in and I've got to sell some gear. I've also got a fully restored Marantz 1070 integrated that I can combine with the 140 for a sweet deal.

I'll start a seperate thread for the 1070.

You'll have to find the guy I sold it to......because as stated twice in this thread, the Marantz 140 is already sold and is no longer for sale.

I had originally bought one back in the 70's while overseas.... loved it, but as time and life  went on it disappeared. Am now rebuilding my old system. Marantz 140, 3200 pre amp, and the 104 tuner. I still have the Technics turntable as well as a TEAC A-2300SR reel to reel all through Bose 501 and 301 speakers.
