SW 15

I won an auction where I scored a pair of Lascalas, a pair of SP1s and an Sw15. I am checking this giant subwoofer out and it's not too bad.

For being 26 years old it is actually pretty darn good.

My only problem with it is that it is huge.

Is there much of a market for this beast ?

It is just an SW15 looks like it was born in 1993.

Yes, I plan on selling it locally. I think it would cost more to ship than what it is actually worth. The thing is huge. I certainly have nowhere to place it and my daughter and her husband are not nterested in it at this time. I'm still working on them ,though I don't know how successful I will be.

Enjoy the La Scalas but the SW 15 is not a good sub at all.  It will produce a lot of bass, but flabby and slow bass at best.  I used one with K horns and stopped using it.

Once I bought a JL Audio F113 I realized just how bad the SW 15 was.  But I got it as part of a package deal (same as you) and sold it for like $150.

I sold the SW 15 for $175.00.

I was impressed by the amount of bass, but like you, I noticed it was not the quality of bass I am looking for.

I do have an older Velodyne 12 inch subwoofer, but have to see what is up with the tiny toggle switches. They seem to cut output power if I try to use them. Maybe need cleaning or replacing.
