bobbmd
Is there such a cable with a toslink optical end and the other end a BNC end?? I want to connect the digital optical out of my gen 3 Apple TV to the BNC input on my new Schiit Yggdrasil GS DAC—- the DAC as you know has USB in/coaxial in/digital optical in which I am now using I have the BNC in unused and would like to use it as described above. If no such type of cable exists i will have to disconnect the digital optical in on the DAC every time i want to use the Apple TV (what a PIA!) thanks — first post/query on this forum bobbmd
LTusler
Try searching the net for a fiber ST connector to Toslink. ST was one of the the first generations of fiber connector. Are you sure the BNC isn't a coax connection?
glens
I looked briefly at their site and believe the connector is electrical, not optic. If so, then you won't be able to do what you want with anything passive.
