bjinyyz
Hi everyone, I currently have RP-260F’s and was wondering what sun to pair with them. My room is large and I’m thinking 12”. what model is best to pair with them and should I stay with Klipsch or are there other options I should consider? thank you and merry Christmas/ happy holidays
StrongSilent
I am no expert here at all. But my friend is. He said a general rule of thumb is two speaker sizes. So if you have the rp-260f’s a (8, 10) would be two sizes up. Of course then he said you can never have too much bass! I have been back and forth on the 12 or 15’s
CECAA850
You're always safe buying larger than what you need. You can always turn the sub down to balance it with the other speakers plus it will avoid upgrading in the near future. Larger subs playing at a fraction of their capability play cleaner than smaller subs that are pushing to keep up also.
