seanafa81
I have a pair of 1975 H-WO spaekers. There is a letter F on the top right corner of the manufacture sticker. Is F the initial of the person who built these? Would you happen to know the person"s name? Sean
seanafa81
The letter F is hand written and not part of the serial number. Any additional history on these 2 speakers would be appreciated. Thanks.
JohnA
I believe "Inspected" is the builder. Look for initials in the upper corners of the rear edge plys.
JRH
It appears from the logbook that they were keeping track of pairs with a letter. 677 and 678 have the "F" designation. 673 and 674 have a "D" designation. Yep, 675 and 676 have an "E". All were shipped Sept. 5, 1975. My guess is that yours are not perfectly grain-matched.

"Inspected by" signature line was actually the person in final assembly who installed the drivers/horn-lenses and networks into the speaker cabinets, then closed up the cabinets prior to them being tested.
