SINGLE Klipsch Horn AVAILABLE - Garland , Texas

WHAT YEAR is this KHORN   ( 1950's ?) 

       ...and WHAT Crossover is used in this? 

 

Is this possibly an extremely 'early' KHorn ?

It was listed as a University speaker on craigslist Dallas or Houston a few weeks ago. I believe it was Dallas but not 100% sure.

 

Also have seen listed individual University horns/compression drivers on ebay vintage.

I've never seen a mid horn like that.  It appears to be 2 halves bolted together.

That's an early E-V Cobraflex, popular in the day.  Still used in PA systems.  I believe it was available from Klipsch as an early option.  @JRH

Also used in the famous University Classic loudspeaker (crossed over from the horn loaded bass at 350 HZ; many threads here on that) as well as comparisons; some say favorable to the K-400/401and Altec 511B...
