Puddy
Looking for good advice on a HT system upgrade. Seems like this is the best place to find it. Following is what I've purchased already: Mitsubishi 65857 Platinum+ Proj. TV Denon AVR4800 Receiver Pioneer Elite DV-37 DVD For speakers, I'm considering the Klipsch RF3's, RS3's, RC3. Unsure about rear center. Any suggestions? Plan to use existing powered sub (Cambridge SW PSW-1), if possible. Have yet to connect everything. I'm kind of new to this and I appreciate any and all feedback/opinions. ------------------ Thanks
soundog
RS-3s are best but are sold in pairs; RC-3 would be second choice. Its best to use speakers that are part of an acoustically matched set.

jeffgeorge
Puddy, I have the same set-up and have no regrets. I can't speak to your choice of sub, because I don't know anything about it. You could try an RB-5 for the center rear, but I don't know if you can buy it seperately. ------------------ RF-3's : mains RC-3 : center RS-3's : surrounds KSW10 X 2 : subwoofers Receiver: Denon 2801 DVD: Panasonic DVD-A120 CD: Yamaha CDC-765 Cables: Tributaries Sat Receiver: Hughes Direct-TV DD5.
