babadono
Wonder how it would do in the anechoic chamber at Klipsch? or outdoors in half space?

Roby Italy
No, solo la differenza di risposta in una stanza chiusa o all'aria aperta è la stessa ... tutto cambia Forgive me if I write badly, but the translator works badly. If by "punchy" you mean the 140 Hz. +7 db peak, with the anemic response of the K33 at 400 Hz. (vs. the "best bang for buck" Kappa 15C), you are correct.

karlson3
here's a sim of BFM's T18 - nice in a corner plus an outdoors measurement of my Peavey FH1 (much like LS/Belle)

I put the K43's in my LaScalas and discovered the much greater MIDRANGE definition from that woofer. Vocals, saxophone, guitar became exquisitely detailed. If you are using those, I would just keep using them. I came up with the Kappa 15C as a brand new, best bang for the buck alternative, which has a teeny bit better midrange definition than the K43, but not as much power handling. K43's are a great driver for a LaScala, for those who use SUBWOOFERS with them.
karlson3
FWLIW - hornresp looks similar between one K33E spec and the four ohm Kappa 15C. Group delay is lower for Kappa down low.
Roby Italy
I wonder the 15C how it can have a deeper bass when it has a higher usage frequency than the K33, maybe it will have a more incisive bass
glens
Deeper bass how? That graph show half the output at 60 Hz for the 15C compared to the K33.
