Everyplace I go either has an expensive price with cheap or free shipping, or they sell the TV cheap and have ridiculous shipping rates. Anyone know a good web site to buy the TV? A 27" TV is quite heavy, probably weighing over 75# which is the cutoff for normal shipping at your major shippers i.e. UPS, Fed Ex... If the item weighs over 75# it requires special handling, not to mention the insurance and special packaging on the item. Unfortunately if you want free shipping you are probably going to have to pay close to full price. IMHO when ordering large, heavy items like TV's it is better to buy at a local store so if you have a problem with it within 30 days of purchase you can usually, at most places, return it to the store for a replacement.
