If mounted vertically, the owner might could add a 3 ft extension all around to make a splayed 9 ft. horn that goes down to 31 Hz. like DaveA's Super MWM. No subwoofer needed for music.

Nice thought, but it's physically impossible to get an MWM to play up to 1 Khz.  without PEQing the crap out of it. You would need a midbass horn on top, like the one Klipsch made with a 12" driver. or a used Peavey mid horn, like I have that's flat from 300-1,200 Hz. That would be an incredible 3-way setup.
