Haha ... was a project manager for Apple on building their MacIntosh manufacturing plant in the early 1980's.  Received stock options which turned out to be (almost) worthless as Apple was going down the drain. But ... bought Apple a couple of years ago and doubled my money :D   Haha; as you said "no regrets." :)

Speaking of MSFT, when not much was happening, around 10 years past, if one had some shares locked away. Of a sudden, now...the rest of the story...

Oh well...

Stocks are only off about ten percent this week.

Looking for a 2 day to 3 1/2 day sharp ( but brief ) rally upwards.  I would NOT liquidate one's portfolio until we see that rally occur, ie: I would not sell today !!

So much for your rally, down another 800 points 26 minutes after market opening today.

Accuracy counts.  Richard mentioned before as well regarding the propensity of Friday daily moves.  Traders don't want to be long over the weekend, and the more that uncertainty exists, the less likely they would do so.

we've met. introduced by a guy that once drummed for him. don (the captain) has hung out at my brother's pad and they've sat at a local bar and drew comics on napkins--actually both of them were artists (painters).   The last time I saw the Captain was at a 7-11 store -- he was buying ice cream and we talked about how he was getting ready to move up to NoCal. He was an interesting fellow for sure. Man, the stories that guy could tell.

Oh yeah?    Ice Cream for Crow no doubt
