The farther your speakers come out from the back wall and past any other items beside them the further back your imaging will go.

It is quite something the first time that hits you!

I found out by fluke one day after I had pulled my speakers out to vacuum behind them. Sat down for a quick music break and THEN I remembered other forum members telling me that in other posts, lol.

I'm at 45 degrees toed in. Then I just halve the distance between them for the sweet spot. But really, anywhere in front of them and close up gives you good imaging. Sometimes I'll sit closer to one speaker and face the other speaker for an interesting effect while still getting good stereo.

This room is set up that way. The tv is in between the speakers and the are big chairs opposite each speaker. Chairs are facing the tv.

Opens the room ...  if you were sitting straight across from one of these LS, flat to the wall, it was right in your face.

one thing???

how does toe in play with the rear passives? Not something I have to deal with
