Chorus II Midrange Diaphram

Do the midrange diaphrams on a compression driver like I have on my recently acquired Chorus II have a life expectancy? How do I know when/if the diaphram should be replaced?

I did replace my tweeters with Dave A's Large MAHLs lens and DE10 tweeter combo and love them. I will be recapping the crossover as well. Thanks

replace them when they break will probably out live you and go on to serve your grand kids You can get new Phenolic diaphragms from Bob Crites as well at Titanium ones from Klipsch via Simply speakers but you don't need to. They (Phenolic) diaphragms regularly last80 plus years easy if not abused they are pro drives so in home use it is a dawdle.
