K-55 V screw tourque specs

Recommended Posts

not sure if there is a torque setting as a dry gasket can require more force ,  I  clean - lubricate the gasket ,these are in some cases 40 plus yeas old  - and then I screw tightly ,  ( in cross pattern )  then back-off a little till it grabs , and that is usually the sweet spot -

I've got a 1/2" torque multiplier you can borrow.  1/2" input and 3/4" output.

Outta do the trick for you!

Carl,

Carl,

They are shutting down wings to prepare them for this, but we really have not seen anything in this area yet.

I've had a bunch of them apart and together and always done it by feel.  If you feel like digging, I'm sure there's a chart somewhere that shows torque by fastener size.
