JohnJ
Didn't click that I know it very well, it's one of his beautiful songs. It was in the mid 80s when I first saw him play and then understood how they called him the things they did in the late 60s. Great musician, made an impact on me!
Moderators dtel Posted March 31, 2020 Moderators Share Posted March 31, 2020 Only seen him once, maby 20 years ago, I'm getting old if he's 75. It was a really good show, one thing that was different from most of the concerts we have gone to was he came out and said hello. Midway through said they will be back in a minute and said thank you at the end, no other words except when he sang.
MC39693
Slow hand and JJ Cale, ahhh now that’s good music.
Dave1290
A true gentleman, which is seldom seen anymore. Just does anything he wants to when he wants to and it always sounds great.
Seadog
It's hard for me to picture Clapton as a 75 year old guy. I saw him in '85 (Behind the Sun tour) and in the mid 90's (Nothing but the Blues tour - had a 6th row seat for that one). Those were two of the most enjoyable concerts that I have seen.
