Mr. Bill Withers, It Aches to Know You're Gone

Recommended Posts

Posted (edited)

RIP to someone that I recall introduced me to his soulful singing in the 70s.

* That someone was Bill Withers himself that I heard on the radio.

My typing doesn't keep up with my crowded, multi-tasked to death thinking all the time.

Yes  RIP, I just  got  a  cassette of  his  time to listen

Doesn't fit our weather right now, does it?

But he sure made some sweet music!

Rest in Peace, Bill Withers.

The wife and I are at-homing and listening together. "Just the Two of Us"

This one really hurts. We all come and lean on you some day. Rest until then.

Great voice, got to hear him live once when I was 18, no band or anything just a microphone and his voice. It was the first time I heard a professional singer live (besides rock) it really made a big impact on me. What a great sound.

RIP
