When I play music or movies nothing sounds and if I tap any speaker starts working but it stops again and works again. willland Posted April 6, 2020 Share Posted April 6, 2020 @Fiticheli, Welcome to the forum. Very rare a new speaker will fail. Speakers are probably the last thing that would fail in your A/V setup. Start by making sure all connections are tight and secure, including the binding posts on the speakers and on your AVR. If okay, examine your speaker wires for crimps or anything unusual looking.
