"Rashid Ali Buttar (born January 20, 1966) is an American osteopathic physician, conspiracy theorist, and anti-vaccine proponent from Charlotte, North Carolina.[1] He is known for his controversial use of chelation therapy for numerous conditions, including autism and cancer.[2] He has twice been reprimanded by the North Carolina Board of Medical Examiners for unethical treatment of patients[3][4] and cited by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for illegal marketing of unapproved and adulterated drugs.[5][6][7]

Just pointing out more lending itself to boosting numbers for the $$ at the beginning of his video.
He is associated with the Fauci assistant that was supposedly jailed for unknown cause along with Buttar bringing up the Patents on Coronavirus and the Patent granted in Nov '19 on the immunization.  Coincidental dates of course.

Yeah, they are all part of the anti-vaxxers cult. They all have books and a "cure" for something. They make their living selling books and "cures" to people who flock to those things. They have seminars, conferences and protests and there is never a shortage of "experts" to supply what they crave.

They know there is a certain percentage of people who are just wired to gravitate towards anything with "conspiracy" behind it and they will spend big money on books, videos, supplements, Crystals, herbs and even oil.

This has been well studied and ( @wvu80 ) can probably cite the literature where the common traits and characteristics of people who will ignore common sense, science, etc. in favor of a good conspiarcy have been identified.

I just think it's wise, when it comes to the health, safety, and welfare of people and their families that they "consider the source."

Absolutely.  Need to temper the information though was surprised he was the first one to throw out the patents.

To them vaccine == autism.  Fortunately or unfortunately, they haven't been able to prove a correlation though some of the things in cancer research really need to be bubbled up to the public.

Things like your lungs ability to produce hydrogen peroxide which can kill the virus.  A previously hidden cancer treatment.  So I guess I am of an open mind to some of the craziness since I can't say they are wrong 100% of the time, as others in the media would discount just due to the source.

[Removed here too. Please do not link to bitchute or related similar sites. They promote and allow hate speech, something not allow or tolerated here in any form, even by indirect links].

This video has been repeatedly removed from you tube.

No such thing as hate speech. . . .

[well that's a troubling thought. This is a private audio forum for Klipsch fans. There are plenty of other places for you to have those conversations and express your views. Klipsch doesn't want or need this place to be a springboard to the off beat stuff. The people here are plenty smart to go off and find these things on their own, they don't need people to share the links. I'm sorry YouTube is blocking videos, but we just don't need people to help us find the hidden. I'm sorry to hear that your appreciation for the best speakers made is dependent upon your ability to link to outside sources having nothing to do with audio, PWK, or Klipsch speakers].

No such thing as hate speech, only free speech that people do not like to hear.
I would have never imagined that Orwell was talking about Klipsch when he wrote 1984.

The video showcased two doctors discussing that the predictions of covid19 were completely over blown vs the reality we are seeing, not a single "hateful" aspect of that presentation.
I have been a Klipsch customer and advocate since 1995, that ends today.

Sounds like a very adult and intellectual response 😭 🤪😤. You will be terribly missed around here.

That sounds like Confirmation Bias.  A person only gives credence to information, no matter how convoluted that agrees with his opinion, and actively ignores information or evidence to the contrary.  Worse, the evidence to the contrary is used as further proof that the biased information of the original view is correct.

I was thinking more along the lines of:

Bilewicz, M.,  Cichocka, A.,  &  Soral, W.  (Eds.).  (2015).  The psychology of conspiracy. New York, NY: Routledge. A comprehensive collection of empirical and review chapters  by  leading  researchers  on  the  psychology  of  conspiracy theories

But you are the expert, not me.

Yes, need to weigh the conspiracy against the information provided, just as Russian interference.  Let it play out.

It will indeed play out, in probably a dozen congressional hearings, for at least the next two years.

The "information provided" is the rub. It seems to always be a function of who is doing the digging, filtering and delivery.

If people have nothing to do go to CSPAN video library and you can see hearings on Russia, Katrina, Deep Horizon whatever.

By this argument, the entire thread should have been shut down or at the minimum the videos posted by other members should have been removed but that is not what has happened. Those actions infer bias and the resulting actions show abuse of power.

Secondly, my dismissal of Klipsch products has nothing to do with the ability to link to outside resources, but Orwellian abuse of power by people who disagree with the information I have shared. Its childish full stop.

Lastly, nothing I posted goes against forum moderation. I would like this escalated to a superior.

That's how socialism works.  But as Margret Thatcher said "Sooner or later you run out of other people's money".

Washington's death rate up. A bit alarming. A while back I posited on the amount of confirmed cases going up. Now this.

Stats, gotta love them.  I'm to the point where I don't believe any of them as different countries/states/communities have so many different testing/reporting/methodologies that they're basically useless for comparative purposes.  Who is being tested?  What percentage of the population?  Only people with symptoms?  YMMV.

Hey, Raygun.  I can see why you feel the way you do, so let me give you some background.

Political arguments have been an issue for Klipsch for many years, now.  People get heated and start lobbing insults and threats.  Then, Klipsch starts getting heat for it, with people even threatening to sue.  This is the reason for the current policy.

There used to be a hidden section where members could engage in politics all they wanted.  Many of us thought it was a great way to accommodate those with thick skin.  Alas, it ultimately deteriorated to threats of lawsuits, too.  There's just no winning when it comes to politics and civility.  Invariably, somebody ruins the party.

While it might appear to you that the policy is being enforced in a one-sided way, it's really not.  Instead, the problem is that nearly every debate involves politics at some level once you start discussing news and current events.  The mods do what they can to try to let people carry on, but they have to make judgment calls on when the line is crossed - not to mention they can't monitor 100% of all posts in real-time.

Sometimes, it does seem to appear as if the mods are acting arbitrarily, and perhaps they are to some degree.  It is a fine line they tread.  Just like it's hard to tell when forum members cross the line, it's also hard to tell if the mods, in making decision calls, are singling-out certain people and views.  I don't think they do, but sometimes, I wonder whether they realize how unfair some of their decisions seem to appear.  In any case, it's no big deal.  This is basically just a forum for people to BS with each other.

I wouldn't even be a paid mod if offered the opportunity.  What a pain in the butt it must be to deal with us.

All said, I wouldn't worry too much about your posts being "modded."  It is routine around here and probably happens almost daily.  Don't take any of it personally, and don't try to read much into it.
