Still stuck in the memories thing, days at the beach way back when..

I guess it's hot outside, Red Head as red as a lobster, sunburnt to a crisp, the smell of Lake Michigan and all those transistor radios blaring across the beach....

@Tim Sr. nothing hard to figure out.  They just did a thang!    Wiki Bill Graham.  It's just the way he ALWAYS rolled.  Fillmore's/Winterland.  Hey, ya'll wanna do it?  Great guy and it ALWAYS worked.  Sure he took a bath a couple times but legendary sums him up .  :)

Funny, I sat here and watched that entire thing.  I've never seen it before.  I roll a lot of the time w/memories in here.  How could I make that statement?  I've only been in NYC twice in my life.  One w/a record dude for NYE long ago and another time w/an artist.

He asked me to do something for him prior to a show so I did.  In return he threw me two "staff jerseys" for both the East and West Fillmore.  Purple for the East and green for the West.  I think.  Said just wear 'em and tell anyone that asks I gave 'em both to you.

Over the years the green one vanished somewhere but I still have the purple one.  Well kinda.  I have two big boxes of all my old t's and I know that purple one is in one of the boxes.  The down side of it all?

When I left my house, prior to my divorce, I couldn't get up into the attic above the garage because the pull-down ladder was cracked.  I wasn't gonna die.  Someone did take it down at some point though.  My trusty neighbor said no one ever went up there cause the ladder was broken so the just pulled it before it sold.  So that's where they are.

I keep an eye on the place but don't know the new owners.  I do know they haven't replaced it cause there's an open hole in  the garage ceiling I can see when I drive by.  I also can't tip my hand.  Thinking about offering to put up a new ladder if I can get my things out.  I just wanna be the first one up there.  There's so much money sittin up there it's unreal.  She was clueless cause she'd never seen 'em.  :)

Bill Graham though?  He was truly the real deal as far as I'm concerned.  Great guy!  :)

Local Australian band from the 70s fondly remembered

I just purchased a Best of album as it has my favourite songs on it

A little bit of trivia as they toured in the USA around 75/76 and opened for Uriah Heep and by all accounts they blew the socks of the audience

Sometimes music will not sit well like a belly ache

Sometimes music will feel like warm robe and a favorite drink..

or

... like that feeling of old home week

Funny how tickling the eardrums a certain way can evoke such power yet creativity and emotion do not have a definitive definition.

The best we can say is "it's a vibe"

Does anyone have an answer?

Anyone??

Wait, it's 1:15AM are you WHACKED?  Scuse me, let me thunk on that one before I crash.  😂😂😂

Spent about 6 hours today putting together new setlists with my buddies for their "new" band.  Who won the battle?  Yea, I got my licks in, they listend to some and fought like crazy to leave some alone.

My buddy on one of the leads retired so they picked up a youngin on guitar and another youngin w/a Hammond B-3.  Yea, a Rick Wakeman wannabe clone who smokes a pack a set and a kid who's 1//3 ready to step up.  Crazy.  The rest of the crew has played together for 40+ years.

6 hours that felt like 16.  Yea, I"m STILL trying to figure out how it cost ME a 12-pack that I had to go get.  They didn't even bring a birthday cake.  Sad!  😂

@MicroMara & @AndreG. that one's alllllll yours since ur just about ready to roll out.
