I've heard tons of Joe's stuff back in the day in the "slurred word" version. It was much, much better. Then he got down to business. Yea that 7 minutes is the first half. After that the song is being played in front of a large darkened coliseum crowd! ** If you open it at the youtube site. So it was a long listen, I got about a good six hours on the new gear yesterday... JohnJ Posted June 26, 2024 Posted June 26, 2024 Thanks for that orchestral music @Tim Sr. It's bookmarked after that first tune and I'll use that instead of what you see above of my playlist last night for burning in! 3 Quote

Found some nice Brahms to finish off with Tim. Heard lots of him from the piano in the living room when I was little! 3 Quote

Make sure to play the Samuel Barber "Adagio for strings" as I do not want a dry eye at my procession! Red horses too with flaming tails, is only appropriate for where I got sent. 2 1 Quote
JohnJ Posted June 27, 2024 Posted June 27, 2024 Mixed messages in there @Tim Sr. Sounds and scenes from Austria both beautiful, getting a kick out of the sounds from my new rig that's coming together. Even in the small computer/media room the 301s can make delicate sounds with the right stuff! With a high db cd I can hear that 101db SPL Klipsch speaker sensitivity down to my creek also 1 2 Quote

Full Range Posted July 2, 2024 Author Posted July 2, 2024 Both speed and accuracy is impressive but above all to my ears clarity Enjoy Yuja Wang 2 1 Quote
JohnJ Posted July 3, 2024 Posted July 3, 2024 I've heard the "Reimagining" a while back but no Yuja yet! Raising my amp level with the desk since I had to move it this morning for my ISP to get in here. It wasn't the lightening storm that knocked me offline, it was ants in the box on the tree where that dish is about 70 ft up! I'll cut some more of those inch thick stairway steps down tonight, had to take a break. Brand new hand-saw used once before on some cedar for the closets is dull as &$%@. Dull saw are as dangerous as a dull knife. It jumped up and cut my arm easily though, and my styptic pencil has finally dried that up. 1 3 Quote
