Islander Posted May 20, 2020 Share Posted May 20, 2020 You could try to find a suitably sized appliance box for your 402 horn. For example, some Forum members have mentioned using washing machine boxes to ship La Scalas. K-402 horns are about the same height and width as a 40” flat screen TV. Of course the 402 horn is deeper than the 40” TV, but if you were able to get a few boxes, you could stack them and cut out progressively larger holes to accommodate the taper and depth of the horn. Boxes like that are often free for the asking from appliance stores, who otherwise have to recycle them or get rid of them somehow. That’s just one idea. There must be plenty of others. boricua2480 Posted May 20, 2020 Author Share Posted May 20, 2020 I haven't been able to get out of the house to check for a box that'll work due to a surgery last week. Since I'm laid up for a month, I figured I'd try the forum to see if I can locate an oem one which would be best.
