Some People Shouldn't Own A Soldering Iron...

Recommended Posts

I've had soldering jobs go bad on me -- solder won't flow, or won't stick to wires; tight quarters where I couldn't get a good angle with the iron, etc.. But usually when I see things going that direction I stop, take a break, then come back and tear it all out to start over again.

But seriously @jlmoore3rd we're just having a laugh at your expense. I apologize for this. We should not confuse any new members. 99.99999% of us here think wire length is of no consequense at audio frequencies. Unless your talking 100's of feet of speaker cable.

I was going to say that from looking at the picture, it looked like everyday Klipsch soldering to me.

Nah, have to disagree with you there.....looks like a roadie had to do something fast to get them working for a show.

I picked up a pair of KP-301 IIA's, and am putting in new caps from Crites... One of the input cups/panels has been rather badly repaired, so I'm in search of a new cup. Thought I'd share this...
