Jeff Matthews
Anyone know a good source for replacement batteries? The last time (and only time) I bought a battery for my LG phone was from Amazon. It was a well-priced OEM (LG) battery. It never really lasted like a new battery. I bet it was not genuine. If you look for cell batteries on Amazon, the reviews have way too many negative ratings.
oldtimer
The last time we did was through Amazon, but you do have to be super diligent to make sure you are getting an authentic product.

CECAA850
I have a Samsung S5 which I've had maybe 5 or 6 years. The Samsung OEM batteries I've gotten seem like NOS which is not good as far as batteries go. I've had good luck with AceSoft as a replacement. I will have had it 6 years next month as I got one of the first ones to come out.
Moderators dtel Posted May 23, 2020 Moderators Share Posted May 23, 2020 Check locally, there is a place here that replaces them for a little more than the cost you can buy the battery for, depending on the phone I guess.
NADman
I need to replace the cracked face and battery in my IPhone SE. A local shop charges $90.00 including labor for face. $60.00 including labor for battery. $150.00 total BUT a YouTube video shows me you have to remove both parts to replace either one. I'm hoping they forgo 1 labor charge. Love that little phone.
