BrianCove
My house came with 6 Klipsch speakers (RCR-5) in the ceiling with a hole in the wall where there appear to be the ends of the speaker wires. What type of amp or receiver should I use? What kind of wattage should the amp/receiver be? I would like to have Bluetooth capability. Thanks! rplace
Music in various rooms/locations around the house or all in one room for home theater?
JohnA
Any receiver over 25 watts/channel should be enough; 100 watts/ch is plenty. If they're in one room, you might be able to use them as a theater system. Look at Yamaha, Denon, Onkyo/Integra, Sony, Sony ES and Marantz. Most of those will have Bluetooth. BrianCove
Thanks for the responses. All the speakers are in the same room (living/kitchen). I don't want to use for TV/theater speakers. Are six channel receivers common? Thanks Again!
JohnA
Not too common, but 7 channels are. Now that I see what you are wanting, this, driven by a stereo preamp is closer. Few Home Theater receivers will do All-channel stereo. Onkyo/Integra do. https://www.bestbuy.com/site/rotel-480w-6-0-ch-power-amplifier-black/5708431.p?skuId=5708431
