R-112SW issue

My R-112sw subwoofer has an intermittent but steady thump every few seconds even if no audio source is connected. In addition, the audio that does come through when connected is badly distorted. The subwoofer worked fine until a few days ago. I never have it at high volume levels. I do not have it connected using the wireless module. I have tried to contact Klipsch support but I haven't received a response. I opened a ticket on June 1. I purchased the sub from Fry's in July of 2017 if that helps.

Sounds like the typical issues people have when the amp is going bad.  It's out of warranty so you'll have three options.

-Source a new amp from Klipsch or someone who has one

-Have the amp repaired

-Disconnect and remove the amp and buy an aftermarket amp to power it

Where would I go to get the amp repaired? Are there aftermarket amps that are a drop in replacement that fit the opening? Thanks for your help!
