So, what the hell has been going on?  Wow, looks like it was back late 2017 since I last signed in.  Time flies !!!

Where are all those La Scala's that need some make-up? 🧐  Winter is coming fast and might need a project.  OK, that was a lie.  i WANT a project! Project for a keeper pair (not flip).  Miss them big 'ol glorious speakers in my life.  Sick of the RF-7's like last year...

Well, The Forum looks the same.
I hope everyone is good and getting through these crazy times OK.

I pretty much took a 2+ year absence from audio.  Other than moving junk around and listening.  Unfortunately, my hobbies have become just a little more intense lately  LOL

Contacted this fella: He said his La Scala pair are worth well over $1500 and he has two buyers at $2K.  Just had to laugh to myself and tell him 'good luck with sale'...   🤣

They still go for decent amount.

Yes, we need more emojis...nice job on the Hudson. Looks like you did go with a blower. We last spoke about that project here too long ago. Good hunting on the LS...

The Siamesed ports tell me it’s a small block Chevy.  It’s definitely not a Hudson lump.

I like it a lot.  Anybody can do another Ford, which is cool, but a steel bodied Hudson is extremely cool.

You posted while I was typing.  Oh well, Alex would have rejected my answer anyway, as I forgot to phrase it, “What has a small block Chevy?”

Thank you, Sir!  It has certainly been a lot of fun.  And no, this is a one of a kind, Hot Rod Hudson 🤓

What are you running for trans, rear end, and suspension?  More photos would be nice.

Running Turbo 400 transmission, Ford 9" rear end (full spool, 4.88 gears), Coil over/ladder bar.  Front is Heidts Mustang II.
I'll dig up some more photos of the build here in a bit, as requested 😉

the passenger door , looks like a great fit ,    We have quite a few Hudson's in our area , and some are Canadian Hudson's ,  mostly modified with FORD 302's and mustang front ends  ,  the cars were really great lookers -
