missing metal pieces on RF-7 II speaker terminals

I removed a metal piece on my RF-7 II''s when I was bi-amping them on my old amp.

I upgraded to a new amp and didn't want to to that anymore.

I plugged the speaker cables into the top terminals but it sounds like only half the speaker is working.

Could this be causing my issue?

If so, I lost the pieces...Is there anyway to buy them as replacement parts?

Yes, it is most likely causing your issue.  Something like this or similar for $15.00 to say $50.00.

Pair Mogami Audiophile Bi Wire Speaker Jumper Cables Nakamichi Spade to Spade

Speaker jumper cables

Or these cheapies from Amazon/Parts Express.

Amazon.com: Parts Express Bi-Amp Speaker Terminal Cup Gold Binding ...

Or make your own with say 12 gauge copper speaker wire.

Speaker Jumpers — Polk Audio

I´ve got a set of 4 origin Klipsch Bridges for the RF 7 MK II . I don´t need them anymore. You can have them if you want . If you´re interested, send me a pm.
