Been talking with one of my NY friends about this lately, he doesn't quite get my being ticked about our goalie retreads we've been using lately. We even got another young Scandinavian last month for the future. We don't use the good ones we have in the system except for trade bait. Our PK is solid, we check pretty well. Have always beat them in the playoffs. But these are different times & teams now, `02 and `06 they gave us a fit we went to the Championship both times. From my views of replays it looks like the `Canes had fresh legs and only allowed one shot in the first period! D Pesce made a nice goal through traffic, Jarvis went top shelf! Jesperi, Skej and Fast... nice. Lindy Ruff has been around. Stanley Cup Semifinals Game 2 will be a better game coming from the NJD I'm sure.
