Miso
I have a Denon AVR-X1600H with Klipsch SS.5 rear speakers, SC.5 center and SB1 fronts. What’s the best way to get a rear wireless alternative? Our current setup doesn’t allow for wires going to the rear. Thanks in advance for any help!
wuzzzer
You can get something like the Klipsch Powergate that will allow you to run a pair of speakers wirelessly. And, remember, if space and your room allows, the surround speakers in a 5.1 setup are side surrounds, not rear surrounds.

How does the powergate get the signal from the AVR and how does the signal get to the rear surround speakers?
wuzzzer
You'd have to connect it through bluetooth if your receiver has that capability.
