R-41PM - Bluetooth issue - Ever blue LED

Hello,

I suddenly have an issue with Bluetooth on my R-41PM. The blue LED stays on as if a Bluetooth device was connected but none is connected.

I tried to factory reset the speakers which should clear the Bluetooth pairing history but the issue remains.

If I maintain the bluetooth button for 3 seconds, the blue LED flashes only once and no device can "see" the speakers.

Any idea?

Make sure no other device is connected to your speakers, eg another tablet or smartphone, you may have used it once with the speakers, then forgot about it,  but it is still connected and now it blocks the speakers from connecting to another device...

After a factory reset it should not be the case should it?

It should... in the ideal world, unless there is some faulty code lines involved. I thought it would be worth giving it a try.

I've taken a look at the manual. For a factory reset, hold/press volume, click a source (not Bluetooth) on remote and then release it. The blue dot should flash ten times (which confirms factory reset). This should clear BT pairing connection history.

Guys, I had the same issue, I solved the following way:

- factory reset as per manual (I put USB mode for the factory reset, I don't know if this matter)

- disconnect power cord for 10 seconds (w/o doing this it didn't work, I've tried 3 times with no success)

- reconnect power cord and re-pair my device

hope it helps
