Yes they will work just fine.

shall I look for some rs7

Can't hurt to look for a good deal.  The RS-7s are beasts.

I've had lots of different surrounds and my RS-7s are pretty amazing.

I would take RS-7's over RB-81's for surround any day of the week and twice on Sunday, they would be a pretty good step up from the 3's.

I paid $300 for mine a few years ago.

If they're in mint condition and 100% working I would say that's the top end of their value.

While I understand your reasoning to pass on this, the RS-7 if one fine surround speaker.  Huge size and huge sound.  If I wanted them bad enough, then I would go $400.00.  Otherwise $350.00 would be my ceiling.

Hope it works out for you.

Guy didn’t budge got em for $325 now need to make a decision I’m currently using my Rs-3ii as rear surround and rp-51 as surrounds do I put my rs-7 as rear surrounds or surrounds? Do I dump the 51s or the ra-3iis

Sounds like you got a pretty good deal. Willland and Wuzzer are both good guys and always helpful, they know their stuff. I'm glad you stayed around, it's actually a terrific place.
